Knights News · Grant, Williams and Johnson Receive District 16 Honors

On the heels of their victory over Harrison High School on Saturday that secured the Lady Knights a share of the SWOC Girls Basketball Title (their first league championship since 2008), Sante Williams and Britinie Grant have been recognized by the coaches of District 16. Williams, a Junior, is averaging 13.8 points per game and is among the league leaders in all categories earned Div. II First Team honors. Grant, also a Junior, earned Div. II 2nd Team honors. Britinie is a defensive force in the Southwest Ohio Conference as she is in the top 3 statistically for Blocks and Rebounds.

Second year Head Coach, Anthony Johnson was also recognized, being named District 16 Div. II Coach of the Year!

Congrats to these individuals and and the entire team for all the success they have had this year. The Lady Knights open tournament play on Thursday, 2/15 against Schroder. The game will be played at Walnut Hills High School with a 7:30 PM start.
