Girls Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · Girls Basketball: Lady Knights Have a New Coach

Northwest High School is pleased to announce that pending approval by the NWLSD Board of Education, Mr. Anthony Johnson will be the head varsity girls basketball  coach of the 2016-17 Lady Knights!

We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring Coach Johnson on  as a member of the Northwest family.  Coach Johnson has a passion for the sport of basketball and, is a very driven, student-centered leader with outstanding character. Coach Johnson will work in the coming weeks to put together a great staff that will challenge our student athletes and build upon the solid foundation of our Girls Basketball program that returns 4 starters, 2 All-Conference performers and the Conference Player of the Year.

Coach Johnson replaces 2016 SWOC Coach of the Year, Brett VanGaasbeek after Coach V stepped down in March. Coach Johnson previously served as Head Coach at Walnut Hills, Finneytown and Princeton.

The Northwest Lady Knights open the 2016-17 season hosting Indian Hill High School on November 28th.
